Move. Nourish. Thrive.

Move Freely. Live Fully.

Our bodies are made to move — and every part of us, from our muscles and joints to our organs and skin, thrives on movement. Being active is a fundamental part of life. It strengthens bones and muscles, reduces the risk of disease, supports healthy weight management, eases chronic pain, lowers anxiety and depression, improves sleep and focus, and simply makes you happier.

To move freely, our bodies need the right fuel. The food we eat provides the energy to grow, repair, and move with ease, as well as the nutrients that keep all our systems running smoothly. But food is more than just fuel — it’s joy, comfort, and connection. It brings people together, creates memories, and nourishes not only the body but also the mind and spirit.

My approach is centered around you — your goals, your lifestyle, and what truly matters to you. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan with ongoing support to help you build a strong, flexible, and resilient body. So you can do what you love — freely, fearlessly, and with joy.

Fran

Hiya I'm Franziska Ammann

I’m a certified Pilates teacher, MNU-certified Nutritionist, and Soft Tissue Therapist based in central Cambridge. I offer in-person and online coaching from my private home studio, work at a Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic, and teach at a Wellness Club.

I earned my Pilates qualifications with APPI and Breathe Education, my Diploma in Advanced Nutrition Science with MNU, and my Soft Tissue Therapy Diploma with the Cambridge School of Sports Massage.

Originally from Switzerland, I spent a few years in the United States and now call Cambridge home. I’ve been fascinated by the human body, how it moves, functions, and adapts, for as long as I can remember. Movement is a huge part of who I am. I love running and aim to take part in at least one marathon each year. I enjoy cycling with my husband, collecting cookbooks, making long waks with our Kooiker Greg. I’m happiest outdoors—whether running, swimming, paddling, skiing, or playing tennis (even if I’m not quite as good as some of my fellow countrymen!).

Pilates has been a constant companion over the years. It supported me through two pregnancies, helped me recover from injuries, and continues to enhance my running journey. I absolutely love how it makes me feel—and I want to help you experience that same joy and satisfaction in movement, discovering just how incredible your body truly is.

Adding nutrition to my skill set feelt like the icing on the cake—because to move freely, feel strong, and perform at your best, your body needs balanced, nourishing fuel.
